Videos: Coming Soon
The ItemsExpress videos section is coming soon. Learn about our plans for captions, transcripts, accessible embeds, and video privacy.
What This Section Will Become
Videos will be used where a visual explanation genuinely helps: walking through a document, comparing a process, or showing how a checklist is applied. They will not replace written content.
Every published video page will include a full written transcript. The transcript makes the material accessible, searchable, and useful to readers who cannot play audio or prefer to scan text.
The video provider has not been finalised. Before any third-party embed is introduced, the privacy and cookie policies will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be configured where required.

Quotation Comparison
Visual examples of normalising supplier quotes and assumptions.
Inspection Checklists
How to record product checks consistently and clearly.

Guide Companion Videos
Optional visual summaries that support, rather than replace, written guides.
Editorial Explainers
Short clarifications of sourcing terms that are often misused.
Editorial Standards
How We Plan To Publish
The CMS is a publishing tool, not a substitute for editorial judgement. These standards will apply before content appears publicly.
- Videos will be scripted and reviewed before publication.
- Captions will be checked rather than relying only on automatic transcription.
- A full transcript will be published on the same page.
- Thumbnails will describe the content accurately.
- Third-party embeds will be loaded with privacy and consent requirements in mind.
Reader Experience
What A Published Page Will Include
The future detail pages are designed for readability, accessibility, and crawler access from the first release.
- 1
Transcript-First Pages
The written transcript will carry the full substance of the video.
- 2
Captions And Labels
Captions, duration, publication date, and a descriptive title.
- 3
Accessible Controls
Keyboard-accessible embeds and a text alternative for every media item.
- 4
No Autoplay Assumption
Playback should require an intentional user action.
